Robust earth auger with impressive power. Makes light work of drilling holes for fencing or support posts and for use in tomato, coffee, and pepper plantations. Can be fitted with standard auger bits (150 - 250 mm), or with an optional adapter for use with the STIHL drill bit range.
Standard features:
· Multifunction handle
All operating elements for the engine control are integrated into the right-hand handle, enabling the drill to be operated by finger pressure. The hand always remains in a working position.
· Compact support frame
Its compact frame makes the BT 230 easy to carry and transport.
· Standard drill connection
Thanks to the 20 mm market standard connection, most commercially available drill bits can be fitted to the BT 230. When using the optional 20mm adapter STIHL the BT 230 is also compatible with any of the BT 131 auger bits.
· Manual fuel pump
With the manual fuel pump, fuel can be pumped into the carburetor at the push of a button. As a result, the number of starting pulls is reduced after the machine has been idle for a longer period.
