<p>Kalori 3000 is is a spray-dried molasses by-product in a convenient powder form that can be added to licks and mixed feeds.</p><p>This product is suitable for all farm animals.</p><p>Kalori 3000 increases the palatability of rations, reduces dust and also acts as a binding agent in licks, blocks and pelleted feeds.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Chemical Composition</u></strong></p><p>Nutrient (g/kg)</p><p>Protein (Min) 90 g/kg</p><p>Fibre (Max) 7 g/kg</p><p>Calcium 45 - 70 g/kg</p><p>Phosphorous (Min) 2.5 - 4.5 g/kg</p><p>Moisture (Max) 40 g/kg</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Feeding Recommendations</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Kalori 3000 may be used as follows:</strong></p><p>● Complete mixed rations for ruminants, horses, pigs and poultry.</p><p>● For improving palatability of licks (stimulates voluntary intake).</p><p>● For reducing wind losses.</p><p>● For the treatment of low quality roughages to improve palatibility.</p><p>● As a binding agent for pelleting feeds.</p><p>● For reducing dust.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Guidelines for use:</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Complete mixed rations</strong></p><p>Add 25 to 75 kg Kalori 3000 per tonne of feed to increase the palatability..</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Pelleted feeds</strong></p><p>Increase pellet quality, Include 2.5 – 5 % (dependent on composition of formulation)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>As an additive to licks</strong></p><p>Between 5 and 10 % Kalori 3000 may be added to licks to bind the licks and improve the palatability thereof.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Mixture for the treatment of low quality roughage</strong></p><p>Raw materials kg/mixture</p><p>Kalori 3000 25 kg</p><p>Feed Grade Urea 15 kg</p><p>Feed Grade Sulphur 0.75 kg</p><p>Water 200 litre</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Method</strong></p><p>Dissolve the Kalori 3000 in approximately 50 litres of water. Add the urea, sulphur and the rest of the water and stir until both the Kalori and the urea have dissolved completely. Pour the syrup mixture over 1 tonne of roughage (2 litres syrup over 10 kg roughage).
