Recommended use/application
Ammonium Chloride is an odourless, white powder or white Ammonium chloride that can be added to the diets of male lambs fed high concentrate diets such as in feedlots, to effectively reduce the pH of the urine to prevent urinary calculi. Add 5 kg ammonium chloride to a ton of feed.
Ammonium Chloride can be added to the diets of cats and dogs to effectively reduce the pH of the urine to prevent urinary calculi. The effective minimum dose will depend on the anion–cation ratio of the diet.
Classification, labelling and packaging
