Description
Wood-Mizer has proven to be the number one choice for sawmillers and woodworkers across the globe.
Wood-Mizer's professional and high-quality sawmill line ranges from entry-level sawmills for low volume timber production to high performance sawmills intended for high production of timber in Africa.
Along with blade guide rollers, belongs to the guiding mechanism of the saw blade. It’s used in machines like LT70 and larger, and its main function is to stabilize and hold down the blade while it’s moving. It presses the blade from top and bottom (in larger sawmills) allowing for more control of the blade. It’s made of high-quality steel and must be regularly checked and adjusted. The best practice is to check its condition and alignment every 8 hours of work, otherwise it may cause friction against the blade. In case its’ worn out it should be replaced with a new one.
