Deutz-Fahr has always been one of the leading European manufacturers of specialised tractors. A particularly vivid example of how these decades of expertise have been put to use is the evolution of the Agroplus, a range of three agile, versatile tractors (V/S/F), with a slimline design conceived to cater for all the needs of the vineyard and fruit orchard. Low and narrow (1.16 m), the go-anywhere Agroplus V is the most compact model of the three; the Agroplus F is the widest (1.43 m), to offer maximum grip together with the benefits of limited size; bristling with outstanding high-tech features, the Agroplus S is the most versatile (1.26 m wide).

EXTRAORDINARY POWER WITH IMPRESSIVE FUEL ECONOMY.

Three and four cylinder Turbo Intercooler engines with a unitary capacity of 1,000 cc.

Engines offering exactly the right amount of power for the job: the 1 litre size is the best compromise today between smaller, sub-litre configurations, which are very compact but underpowered, and conventional larger engines with capacities above 1,000 cc.

82 hp/60 kW, 85 hp/63 kW, 90 hp/66 kW, 96 hp/71 kW and 106 hp/78 kW engine variants are equipped with an intercooler, which cools the air compressed by the turbocharger, increasing the mass of air delivered to the cylinders and improving combustion. This considerably increases power and reduces fuel consumption, while maintaining lower engine operating temperatures.

Much more advanced than conventional rotary pump systems, the exclusive SDF injection system with individual pumps for each cylinder maximises engine power (with very high injection pressures of up to 1,400 bar) and ensures extremely short injection times, while the electronic engine management system varies the injection timing itself in relation to load to optimise consumption.

An electronic governor lets the driver set and store an engine speed, which the electronic control unit then maintains at a constant value in any condition and even with varying load, for constant, uniform results.

The engines powering Agroplus V/S/F models use an innovative exhaust gas recirculation system, to achieve compliance with Tier III emissions regulations.

POWER AND VERSATILITY UNDER TOTAL CONTROL

Extraordinary versatility and efficiency are the key strengths of Agroplus transmissions. These transmissions were developed and tested in collaboration with the SDF Engineering Division, which boasts unrivalled experience in the design and continuous development of transmissions for specialised applications.

The base version, with synchronised shuttle, is offered in two configurations: with the extremely simple to use Over Speed gearbox, for a total of thirty forward speeds and fifteen reverse speeds, or with the three stage Over Speed Powershift gearbox with supercreeper gear, for a remarkable forty-five FWD-REV speeds.

The Over Speed function allows a top speed of 40 Km/h with any tyre size fitted, without having to change any mechanical parts inside the transmission.
