Course Benefits & Outcomes

• Prepare for rope access work and assemble personal rope access equipment

• Explain and tie basic rope knots

• Perform basic rope access manoeuvres safely on a pre-rigged double rope system

• Conduct basic rope access rescue manoeuvres on pre-rigged double rope systems

• Understand and explain the role of the rope access team

• Inspect, maintain, and care for personal rope access equipment
