Products and Services
- Lubricants: Sasol lubricants offer a wide and complete product range for the agricultural, automotive and industrial sectors. The comprehensive product offering is supported by a strong technical team which renders services such as on-site lubricants surveys, equipment efficiency improvements and optimization, equipment failure analysis, oil-condition monitoring and training. Furthermore, the team is well-positioned and resourced to develop and implement bespoke product solutions that meet the minimum commercial threshold.
· Fuels: Sasol TurboDieselTM ULS 10ppm is the cleanest, lowest sulphur diesel produced in South Africa. It has the potential to facilitate the extension of oil drain intervals and thereby reducing equipment downtime. It also enables the introduction of latest technology farming equipment and vehicles, which employ advanced engine technologies and are fitted with exhaust after-treatment technology such as diesel particulate filters (DPFs) to reduce harmful exhaust emissions and eliminate black smoke.
The flagship TurboDieselTM ULS 10ppm contains Sasol’s market-leading, proprietary performance additive technology which keeps diesel fuel systems clean and provides excellent lubricity to prolong diesel pump and injector life.
Furthermore, Sasol is producing a co-processed renewable diesel by co-feeding bio-based feedstocks with fossil feedstocks. The product is a SANS 342-compliant, additised diesel. Renewable diesel has been positioned as a key diesel transition opportunity for farmers in support of their decarbonisation journey.
