The calf squeeze is an effective tool for restraining calves aged 1 to 10 weeks, depending on the breed. It works by clamping the calf’s body, while a handle mechanism gently lowers the head. This setup is ideal for procedures such as de-horning and ear tagging. Calves enter and exit the device from the rear. Take care not to push the handle down too forcefully, as this could injure the calf.
