Tal-Tec helps manage and control livestock with quality equipment that is affordable and robust.
The pig farrowing crate is designed to limit the sow’s movement while giving the piglets plenty of space to move around. Sows are typically placed in these crates 5-7 days before giving birth and remain there until their piglets are weaned, which usually happens around 28 days after birth. The crate helps maintain ideal temperatures for both the sow and her piglets and prevents the sow from accidentally rolling over on her young.
