ProAct is an ag protein which is derived during a process where a small protein is isolated from a naturally occurring bacteria. When applied, this specific protein sends a unique signal or “Message” throughout the plant when applied. The harpin protein triggers the plant into thinking it’s under a bacterial attack. This false alarm creates a multi-faceted sequence of physiological and biochemical reactions that increase the plant’s natural defenses and place the plant on high alert.

When applied to plants such as maize, soya and sunflower as a foliar application alone or normally with glyphosate or other herbicides it quickly goes to work triggering the plant to increase its natural immune system and increase energy through increased photosynthesis. Plants treated show less stresses to herbicides and to abiotic stresses which leads to an increase in production and quality.
